Michael Murray is one of Vancouver’s most exciting and engaging organists. He studied music at Douglas College in New Westminster, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance from Western Washington University, and received his Associate-ship diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Since then, Michael has been working as a music director, organist, pianist, singer and composer. In 1992, he founded musica intima vocal ensemble, which has come to be regarded as one of North America’s best choirs. Michael is currently director of music at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, and is the organ instructor at the University of British Columbia.
